Attention all current and future Club Presidents: there is a mandatory meeting about Club Rush next Tuesday, September 12th during lunch in the ASB room The first PTSA meeting will be held next Monday, September 11th at 7:00p.m in the Library. We will be having a guest speaker, Krista Dornbush, from the College Baard speak about the PSAT. Remember, Homecoming is on Saturday, September 16th. Which means that dress up days are on their way. The theme for Monday, September 11th is “Join the Dark Side”, so be ready to wear black. Remember, the Ring Man will be on campus today during lunch by the cafeteria for Class Ring orders. Girls Basketball tryouts will be held Tuesday, September 26th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Gym. Any questions, see Coach Brown. Looking for an extracurricular but have yet to find the one that matches your interest? Well good news, Edison’s Yearbook staff is looking for new staffers and you could be one of them! Yearbook is a great way to round out your resume, and it’s lots of fun! If you have an interest in photography, graphic design, journalism, or just want to have a cool press pass that allows you to photograph all things Edison, then stop by and talk to Mrs. O’Connor in room 106A, and we’ll get you sign up!

All work permits expire today. If you are still working and under the age of 18, you need to go to the Career Center to renew your work permit. Homecoming dance permission slips are available in the Activities Office and tickets are on sale now through Friday, Sept. 15th. Tickets will be $120 per couple with ASB and $130 per couple without until today Tickets sold next week will be $130 per couple with ASB and $140 per couple without. Single tickets will be sold at half price. This year’s dance will be held at the Huntington Bay Club and the theme is “Return of the Charger”!
