Heaven's Bounty ~ The Southern Singles Ministry (a division of the Conf Church Ministries) is operating a food pantry in Apison. The pantry serves 30-40 families each day it's open. We are in need of helpers in the following areas: Putting food away in bins before the clients arrive (3-4 hour blocks) Pick up/delivery from Food City (2 hrs, 1x a week, Sunday – Friday) Contact Linda Fore 423-322-7206 to help with this important ministry. Area Announcements Health Rally ~ Today, April 28, from 2-5 p.m., a health rally will be held at the Standifer Gap SDA Church . Come learn God's eight natural laws of health with special emphasis on cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and exercise. The rally is for everyone. E. W. Dempsey, Georgia-Cumberland Conference Health Ministries Director, will be the presenter. He will also have the sermon that day. School of Music Concert: Music for Royalty ~ Southern Adventist University’s School of Music invites you to its last performance of this school year today, April 28, at 4 p.m. in the Collegedale SDA Church and is free and open to the public. The program will combine the school’s chorale ensembles and the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Gennevieve BrownKibble and Laurie Redmer Minner to present “Music for Royalty.” All of the selections, including “Coronation Anthem No. 2 (Zadok the Priest)” by George Frederick Handel, “I Was Glad” by Hubert H. Parry, and “The Hundredth Psalm” by Ralph Vaughn Williams, were written for royal occasions such as coronations. Evening Anthem Vespers ~ Today, April 28, at 8 p.m. retired pastor Jerry Johns' latest nature DVD will be presented at the Chattanooga First SDA Church. Washington State's most famous mountain, Mount Rainier, will be explored for its beauty, wildlife and exceptional waterfalls. Atlanta Adventist Academy Open Enrollment ~ You have many choices when it comes to secondary education; however, our team is working hard to make AAA the premier choice for Adventist Christian Education. Enrollment is open for the 2018-2019 school year. Go to www.aaa.edu, click on admissions, create an account and complete the application. Review the application, pay the $100.00 app fee and submit.
