Fcderatiorr doesnot agreewith the view expressed by the RaitwayBoard as conveyed vide letterquotedunder referencefor the fbllowing valid vital reasonswhich perhapshave beenignoredor lostsightof:(i)

It is an admittedfact that the duties of Crew Controllersare performedby the existingl,oco Pilots.for a tenureof five yearswhile continuedto be designated as L o c oP i l o t .

(ii)

On completion of the tenure,theseLoco Pilots are repatriatedback to the cadre for performingrunning duties.

(iii)

It rray be appreciatedthat the I-oco Pilots are deployedby the Administrationto perlbnn Crew Controllerduties.It is also to be noted that the Crew Controller postdoesnot existat all as the saidpostswere amalgamated in Loco Pilot cadre. -fhe l'actualposition mentionedabove by the NFIR is sufficient to prove that in all fairness.the Loco Pilotr deployedto performcrew controllerdutiesis a Loco Pilot only and h c n c et o b c c o v e r e du n d e rL A R S G E S S .
