Scholarship Application Instructions   

The deadline for submitting a scholarship application is May 3, 2013. Refer to the criteria below for eligibility requirements and for a list of the supporting documents needed (i.e., reference forms, evidence of GPA, etc.) for a complete application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Upon completion of the application, applicant must agree to a personal interview with the selection committee.

Purpose: For God's Glory Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate character and promise. We want to provide encouragement as well as financial assistance. Our ultimate goal is to let students know that God cares. We express his caring while investing in those who will make a positive impact on their communities.

Application Process Eligibility   

Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. Applicants must be planning to attend or must be attending an accredited institution within the counties of San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego. Eligible institutions: two or four-year colleges, universities, or trade schools.

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:   

High school seniors who will be attending an approved school during the academic year immediately following the scholarship award. High School graduates who will be attending an approved school during the academic year immediately following the scholarship award. Currently enrolled undergraduate students attending an approved school. These students must also be enrolled in approved school during the academic year immediately following the scholarship award (Fall 2013).

Applicant must submit the following items: 1. Fully completed Scholarship Application form. (Application materials may be downloaded at www.fggministries.org) 2. Two letters of recommendation. (non-family member) 3. A copy of most recent transcripts , must include a cumulative grade point average. 4. Personal Essay (see question below). One to two pages (double spaced) Please answer the following question: How do you plan to make a difference in the world?

Deadline for the submission of the application is May 3, 2013. Applications postmarked after this date, emailed applications and incomplete applications will not be considered. Awards range from $500 -$1000. Upon proof of enrollment, all funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s school unless otherwise specified.
