WHAT:
A 1-week international youth conference which brings together college-aged students from across Asia for academic seminars and cross-cultural workshops.
WHY:
To promote Asian awareness, international understanding, intercultural communication and leadership skills through the use of English-as-a-global-language.
WHO:
College students (age 18 – 25) from countries in Asia. Students should have a good proficiency in English and an interest in Asian peoples, cultures and countries. Delegations are planned from Japan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Philippines & Russia.
WHEN:
Our 13th Asian Youth Forum will be held from January 27 – February 2, 2015.
WHERE:
AYF 13 will be held in the historic city of Bangkok, Thailand at either Thammasat University or Srinakarinwirote University.
HOSTS:
Pan-Asian Consortium (PAC) Thai TESOL Association
COSTS:
AYF participants must pay two costs: (1) roundtrip travel expenses from their homes to Bangkok, Thailand (2) a participation fee of US $250 (for AYF program, meals & accommodation)
