AUDIO PRODUCTION ... producing the music for your favorite artist — or your own! Do you love listening to or playing music? Do you spend your free time developing music mixes for your friends? Would you like to record music or sound to produce a CD or movie sound track? Are you interested in blending both your artistic and technical skills?

Did you ever stop to think how audio engineers create the sounds for an artist’s song, in a video game, a movie or TV show, on the Internet, or at a concert? We often take the sounds we hear every day for granted, but there are literally thousands of challenging jobs available in the field of audio production. In the Audio Production program, students who want to turn their passion for music and sound into a career will have the chance to create, record, edit, mix and master audio recordings.
