Together, we’ve worked hard to make Audubon Elementary a
top school
in Chicago.
Your Gift Matters Last year, our fundraising efforts totaled $300,000, which was transferred to the school budget and allocated by the administration and Local School Council (LSC) towards:
♦
The Arts: instruction for all students grades preK-8 in Fine Art and Music
♦
Intervention Specialists: dedicated aides that help us meet the diverse needs of our students
♦
Support Staff: recess, lunch and office personnel to ensure safety and support
♦
Technology: a school website, software subscriptions and tech equipment
♦
The Book Nook NEW : a dedicated resource room with instructional materials and lending library
But due to continual CPS budget cuts, the need for funding is ongoing and increasingly urgent. In order to maintain the level of excellence we have come to expect, we must come together to ensure it continues. For all the reasons you chose Audubon, we need your financial support to keep Audubon excellent.
Dedicated teachers and administrators, a supportive community, and involved parents and stakeholders like you have all come together to give our children the best possible public education we can. This doesn’t happen by chance. Friends of Audubon (FoA), a parentrun, nonprofit organization, drives the fundraising vision for the school. Support our efforts. Join us.
