ABOUT THE INSTITUTE Sinhgad Technical Education Society was established in the year 1993 by Prof. M. N. Navale with the aim of imparting Quality Technical Education. The 120 model Institutions under the society, catering to multifarious disciplines, bear shinning testimony to the magnitude of Prof. Navale’s vision and relentless pursuit for excellence. Sinhgad Technical Education Society’s Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, Vadgaon (Bk.), Pune, was established in 2001 and has become synonymous with High Quality Engineering Education. The college offers bachelor degree programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical Engg. and post graduate courses in Management, EnTC, IT and Computer Engg and PhD in Computer Engg. The college has consistently excelled in academics and extracurricular activities. Programs offered by Institute have been accredited by NBA.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Computer Engineering department started in the year 2001, with an intake of 60 which eventually has increased to current intake of 300. Computer department also offers post graduate courses and PhD programs in Computer Engg. The department has adequate number of well-equipped laboratories, classrooms and library for imparting the course contents and the knowledge beyond.

ABOUT THE COURSE The perspective of this course is to offer the training to the faculty members from various

institutes about Wireless Sensor Networks.
