grade 11 graphic design Isu THE MAIN TASK: Create a 30 second 2D animation using Adobe Flash. The main

character will be either a monster or an alien. Each animation must be a minimum of 30 seconds in length and must contain original

drawings done in either Adobe Flash or Illustrator. Each animation should also include audio, you may use downloaded songs, sound

effects, and voice overs or self-recorded audio. The software Garage Band can be used for audio.

SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIAL: Your ISU package must also contain the following items in order to be complete:

1. Completed storyboard drawn in colour with written notes explaining camera angle, audio inserts and other production notes. The

storyboard should serve as your script and illustrate the story that you will be animating.

2. Character drawings in front and profile view. These should be

completed in colour and be done for each main character that is included in your animation.

3.A digital copy of your .flv and .fla file. Instructions regarding where to store your animation files will be given in class.

4. A Critical Reflection Paper. Typed Critical Reflection Paper. Using the Critical Analysis Process, you should reflect, in writing, how

successful you feel you were in designing, creating and editing your

ISU project. Reflect upon successes and challenges you faced in the process and give your work an honest critique.
