‘Basil Elkington Trial’ Sunday March 19th 2017
Basil Elkington Car Trial 2017 - Final Instructions Held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association Ltd (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA), the supplementary regulations and any written instructions the organising club may issue. MSA Permit Numbers are: 100210 (National ‘B’) and Clubman’s: 100209 Thank you for your entry which is accepted and previously advised. 1) The venue is situated at Stoneacre Farm, Otham, Nr Bearsted, Kent ME15 8RS. (Map Ref; 188/800-536. If coming on the M20 North or South, turn off at Junction 8 for A20 to Maidstone. The venue will be ‘arrowed’ accordingly. Turn into Otham Lane and carry on all the way to the venue. This road however is a very narrow country lane, so you must drive ‘VERY’ slowly’ and have extra care if towing. Please do not jeopardise the event. Please, please take extra care and be alert for horse boxes, farm vehicles and the like coming the other way. 2) The event is a qualifying round of the 2017 MSA British Car Trial Championship (Permit No: 2017/CT/0600 the BTRDA Car Trials Championship (Permit Number not required) the BTRDA Allrounders Championship supported by Nucasa (Permit No: 28/2017) and the ASEMC Car Trials Championship (Permit No: 67/2017). 3) All drivers in the National ‘B’ status event must produce a valid MSA Competition Licence, Championship Registration Card and Club Membership Card. Drivers in the Clubman’s status event must produce a valid Club Membership Card. Upon arrival, please park as directed, sign on and go to scrutineering. Competition numbers will be provided by the organiser’s. Please bring tape to affix numbers to your car. It has not been possible to obtain a caterer, so please bring sufficient supplies with you. We plan to run 6 hills and intend to have 4 rounds. More hills may be added if we have sufficient marshals.
