Battery Operation and Care Instructions – Jetpack 36v and 48v April 2016 Onwards Switch Functionality 1. Short Press – Turns Battery on. Lights will progressively flash to show this. 2. Short Press (When On) – When battery is turned on another short press will give you the batteries current capacity. It should be noted that this is not as accurate as the bikes display. 3. Long Press (3-5 Seconds) – Press for 3-5 seconds not releasing your finger and the battery will turn off. Maintenance 1. Store in a cool, dry place when not being used. 2. Do not leave in direct sunlight 3. Recharge as often as you like. A lithium battery is not like a lead-acid in its charge requirements. The amount of times you charge does not affect the lifecycle. The lifecycle is typically 800-1000 cycles (full discharge and full recharge). 4. When storing the pack for more than 3 weeks charge it to full. It is important that the pack is not stored at low voltage (low charge). 5. To not attempt to pair run the battery with other battery / devices which draw power higher than its recommended specification a. 25amp draw for 36v pack b. 45amp draw for 48v pack 6. If the pack stops working unexpectedly, please seek assistance from your local dealer.

Disposal Do not dispose of battery in general waste. Please refer to local authority guidelines regarding hazardous goods disposal.
