Batavia Bulldog Football WEBSITE Jr. Bulldog Football Camp (1st-7th) Come join us for our 18th year of this great Batavia tradition. Learn basic football skills, positions and terminology, and develop speed and coordination while having fun! All participants will receive a t-shirt and other camp goodies. 7th graders will have a helmet and should pads - a "mini-camp" designed to help prepare athletes for the 7th grade tackle football program in August. 7th graders not signed up for the BYF tackle program (or other tackle programs) can participate in the traditional Junior Bulldog Camp with grades 5 and 6. Bulldog Football Camp (8th-12th) The purpose of the Bulldog Football Camp is to prepare individuals, and the 8th grade through Varsity teams, for the beginning of the 2015 season. The camp curriculum includes individual offensive and defensive position work as well as group and team concepts. The first two weeks of camp (June 15-29 and June 22-26) will run M-F for grades 10-12. The final three weeks of camp (July 13-31) will run on M/W/F for grades 10-12. Bulldog Touch Football Come join us for the 12th year of Batavia Youth Football (BYF). 1st and 2nd graders will play touch and the 3rd - 6th graders will play flag. Skills, sportsmanship, and fun will be the basis of the league. Teams will typically practice one night during the week with games on Saturday mornings. A jersey and mouthpiece will be issued. Coaches training provided. Please include the grade of the participant as of fall 2015 and the school that is attended in the notes section. Participation is limited - sign up early! A $40 late fee will be charged for anyone who signs up starting on July 20. Registration will be closed and no one will be accepted after July 27. RMS Cross Country Camp (Grades 5 - 8)

Along with the actual running/training, the kids will learn distance running training concepts, importance of nutrition for distance running, and the value of weight and core training for distance running. The basis of our instruction is consistency through a TEAM concept to achieve personal bests. All ability levels are welcome. Wrestling/Football Crossover Camp (Grades 5 - 12)

Coaches and varsity players will provide a crash-course in wrestling techniques that benefit football players at all positions. Participants will learn about maintaining and attacking from an athletic stance, hand-fighting, attacking an opponent with optimal leverage at a low level, creating angles of attack, maintaining balance and an aggressive stance, takedown/tackling skills, footwork, hip explosion and beating the man in front of you. A camp t-shirt is included. Participants are encouraged to register with a partner of a similar size and weight. Wrestling shoes and headgear are not necessary for the camp. Girls Basketball Camp Each camp offers an opportunity for all girls basketball players to learn the fundamentals of the game that are valued in grade school, middle school, and in high school. We focus to provide a positive player centered environment for the young women in this program. Bulldog Pom/Dance Camp Come to a fun-filled four-day camp with the award winning Bulldog High School pom/dance team. We will learn dances and build dance skills such as jumps, leaps, turns and much more. This camp will include a t-shirt, real poms, awards, and performance at the first Varsity Batavia home football game (the dance participant will get in free at the game)! Summer Tennis Team These tennis classes are for all students entering grades 4 to 12. The Future Varsity class will be for students that are new or have little experience with the game of tennis. The class will focus on rules, fundamentals, basic strokes, and fun games and competitions. The Junior Varsity class will be for students currently playing on the J.V. team or looking to participate on the tennis team in high school. The class will focus on stroke development, serving, net play, singles and doubles match play, and tournaments. The Varsity class will be for varsity level players that have played on the varsity team or have been recommended by Batavia Tennis Coaches (must meet one of the criteria to participate in this level). The varsity class will focus on strategy, stroke development, improving fitness level and footwork, singles and doubles match play, and tournaments. Summer tennis players in the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels will have the opportunity to play in two tournaments during the week of that camp session. Trophies and medals will be given to the top two finishers in each division. Participants must have their own racquet. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt. Tennis coaches will be working on setting up matches against out of town opponents for the varsity level class on Fridays. Tournament Week is 6/29-7/3; this is included when you sign up for any junior varsity or varsity session.
