Action Plan
List the names of 3 neighbors: you know and three you’d like to know better and invite each one out for coffee / drinks?
How To Reach Out After Losing Touch The good news is that it’s entirely possible to reconnect with people, even if it seems preposterous after months or years gone by. If you have someone you’ve been meaning to reach out to or someone you’re dying to reconnect with, here are three easy steps to make that potentially awkward exchange much less painful and potentially even fruitful: Acknowledge the lapse in time Explain the “Why now?” Offer a quid pro quo
List the names of 3 local small business owners and find out why they started their business?
Instead, acknowledge the lapse of time up-front and center — and give that time period some rationale or context. it’s important to think about why you’re reaching out now, after all this time, and be transparent about your motive. The “why now” should include both the transition or event that prompted you to get in touch and your agenda, if you have one.
List at least 5 of your closest friends (10 to 15 if possible) and find out their hidden talent
Finally, throw in an offer of help or reciprocity for good measure. Be gracious and generous (thanks so much in advance for your help, I look forward to hearing from you) and emphasize that you’d like to be helpful to them as well to the extent possible. You’re much more likely to get a response when you think about a two-way benefit and not just how you can take advantage of the other person’s expertise or connections. List 5 people you know from your place of worship or association or clubs and find out how you can help them.
List at least 5 professionals in your life (lawyer, doctor, dentist, surgeon, teacher, consultant, nurse, advisers, etc) and find out why they went into that profession.
List the names of past employers, and your bosses and what you know about them and find out what they are up to today?
List 10 people you haven’t been in touch with for over 4 years and reconnect with all of them
List 5 colleagues at past/present jobs with whom you worked closely or know well enough to call to say happy birthday or find out how they’re doing.

I want to people to see as? Why?
What volunteer work can you do or do you enjoy. Why?
Write down when you will finish this social capital kit.
Write down why you want to improve your social capital?
Write down some goals for yourself (like I will connect with at least 2 people at every networking event, I will help someone towards their dreams)
