... closes the door ...
... and pulls away with a big belch of exhaust smoke.
Boss mutters about Christmas/working on Christmas Eve.
We hear the boss continuing to mutter as we see the car head into the city.
The Boss’s car turns the corner into another street. He is being watched ... (we can put a mobile with lit screen in watcher’s hand)

Boss’s POV from inside the car: Full on family joy. ‘Daddy Daddy, you came home for Christmas’, etc.
Boss’s attention is taken by singing girls. He lowers his window to hear better.
Shot of lovely girls - ‘let them go, let them go, etc’. Beside them there is a sign in/on the window; ‘Closed for Christmas, obviously’. Punch in on the sign as one of the girls points to it.
On the boss - something is beginning to stir. He spots something else.
Behind the (still) embracing family, Santa is waving at the boss.
The boss - really thinking now.
Another ‘businessman’ passes the Boss’s open window. Businessman (loudly): ‘Of course I let the staff home for Christmas. I’m not a monster!’
The businessman points to his phone and makes a face as if to say - ‘what idiot could possibly think I’d keep my staff working on Christmas?!’
The boss is ready to crack ....
Tiny Tim (with crutch) arrives. Tiny Tim: ‘Merry Christmas, everyone’.
Another car pulls up behind the boss’s car and its headlights stream through the back window to illuminate the boss’s moment of revelation.
The boss hits a pre-dial button on his carphone.
Boss: ‘Ah go on then I suppose. It’s Christmas.’
Ed and Sean, in the pub. They are smiling and watching something, which is out of frame. We hear the boss’s voice: Boss: ‘Isn’t this the ...’
Boss (cont’d): ‘...Christmassyest Christmas ever?’ He’s been completely de-scroogified. [NB. He should be surrounded by Sean’s social network here.]
