WHY REPORT SUSTAINABILITY? Sustainability Reporting is gaining ground both internationally and locally. A systematic approach to sustainability reporting helps your company to effectively communicate your company’s sustainability strategies to your audience. It gives you more credibility to your internal and external stakeholders, investors, and the general public. This is a three-day intensive workshop. You will be introduced to the elements of a good sustainability report using GRI’s five-step process: prepare, connect, define, monitor and report. Sustainability Reporting Specialist (CSRS) certificate from NCSR after successfully passing NCSR's online examination and submitting the assignment.

CSRS is a professional certification in sustainability management and has around 600 graduates since late 2007 in Southeast Asian countries including the Philippines. As a professional certification, it is crucial for gauging your proficiency in sustainability reporting. It can be used as a licence to operate in conjunction with the preparation of a sustainability report or CSR/ Sustainability Management at large. NCSR is also in the process to set up the Institute for Certified Sustainability Practitioner (ICSP). This organisation is crucial to maintaining the proficiency of the CSRS professionals and as a networking vehicle among them. Only CSRS graduates are eligible for the Certified Sustainability Reporting Assuror (CSRA) training which aims to provide assurance on sustainability reporting and practices based on the AA1000 standards.
