ABOUT THE INSTITUTION The Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) is the fruit of dedicated efforts put up by the Bannari Amman Group, a leading corporate house under the dynamic chairmanship of a great visionary, Thiru S V Balasubramaniam, in South India to establish a center of excellence in Engineering and Technology. The Institute is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Institute offers 15 undergraduate and 15 postgraduate programmes in Engineering, Technology. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is a unique center of BIT established in 1996. It offers a 4 year B.E (Computer Science and Engineering) programme and 2 year M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) programme. The department has well qualified, dedicated and specialized faculty members in different areas of Computer Science and Engineering, with rich experience in Academics, Industry and Research. The department has well equipped and spacious laboratories with modern Computer equipments.
