Please refer to Cat Tracker to verify if a VIN is affected by this Service Bulletin as it may already have been updated (example: If the snowmobile has a CCU (p/n 0630-265) the service work has been completed and a warranty claim has been credited).
Condition:
On the affected models, the service icon (wrench) may come on when shifting into reverse causing the battery not to charge. If this condition occurs, the snowmobile may lose power to restart.
Solution:
Install new Chassis Control Unit (CCU) Update Kit (p/n 0637-341) on all 2009 1100 cc models. Instructions will be included in the kit.
Parts:
Order an appropriate number of Chassis Control Unit (CCU) Update Kits (p/n 0637-341) through normal parts-ordering channels. Your dealership Parts Account will be billed and then credited upon receipt of a Warranty Claim Request form.
Warranty:
A labor allowance of 0.3 hr will be paid per affected snowmobile.
NOTE: It is required to enter the current mileage of each affected model at the time the claim is submitted.
! ATTENTION To ensure that the necessary service work is completed in a timely manner and that this issue can be resolved, Arctic Cat is requesting that all service work be completed prior to August 23, 2011. All warranty claims directly related to this issue will not be honored after August 23, 2011, without prior approval.

Condition:
Sur les modèles affectés, l’cône de service (clé) peut s’allumer lors du passage en marche arrière, ce qui peut provoquer l’absence de charge de la batterie. Dans ce cas, il est possible que la motoneige perde l’alimentation pour redémarrer.
Solution:
Installez une nouvelle Trousse d’actualisation de groupe régulateur (CCU) (n/p 0637-341), sur tous les modèles de 1100 cc de 2009. Les directives viendront avec la trousse.
Pièces:
Commandez un nombre approprié des Trousse d’actualisation de groupe régulateur du châssis (CCU) (n/p 0637-341) en pa sant par les voies de commande de pièces normales. Votre compte de pièces de concessionnaire sera facturé et ensuite crédité lors de la réception du formulaire de demande de réclamation de garantie.
Main-d’oeuvre:
Une allocation de main-d’oeuvre de 0,3 h sera payée par motoneige concernée.
REMARQUE: Le kilométrage actuel de chaque modèle visé doit être indiqué au moment de soumettre la réclamation.
! ATTENTION Pour s’assurer que le travail de révision nécessaire soit complété rapidement et que ce problème peut être réglé, Arctic Cat demande que tout travail de révision soit complété avant le 23 août 2011. Toutes réclamations de garantie directement en rapport à ce problème ne seront plus acceptées après le 23 août 2011 sans préautorisation.
