We are pleased to note that Ken Wagner (Atlanta's fuzzy fac:ed F & C Chief ) was appointed National F & C Administrator and is compiling a brand new National Flagging Manual. • 1. + 1When T -, _I he --.-,-,returns A ,my Copy a f the Comp |ete FL±g_p_ap_ (tfia one with AI I,indemann's see about reediting our manual. margin I(L(+Lt,-,+ JL+ graffiti) -.-.--- _, , ,__ I`m ___ ~going _ - to What I had in mind was a sort of loose leaf presentation which
could be kept in a binder and added to. It would first give all the basic flagging stuff , just like any other manual. Then there would be an Appendix section where more advanced correepts could be covered, like I,ake Erie's fantastic hand signal system.
|he Appendix could be added to at any time, with contributions coming from any interested flagger with a relevant topic. I would welcome any feedback on this or any other F & C matter that's hugging you.

Sorr.y about such a late Januaky-Bapl.letin,` but` I `was unable to. ,get anyone to ser've as editor' and get .the Bulletin out ewlardy month.
We (the staff of the Bulleti.n makes no excuses) arte not triying to match Sport Car by becoming a historical publicatlonj but, IF we get the cupport, the Bulletin will become an upTto-date br'idge of communication from Denver t;o Region to' regioqal inembers (especially riember.s who are unable to reach meet, ings` because of dlstamce),
We will probably use second class mail 1n the future because of the outrageous. .cost, of„;fir-st: class®

get the Bu,|let:ih in about three days. In past year`s, the Bulletin has operated in.the r`ed because of no financial suppor't through advertising. O.ne year in the past, it cost us seventeen hundred dollarts for the Whole year.
We will accept
advertising this ,year, for we (the staff) do not believe ln draining the tr`easury. Wr.ite the editor fort advertising rates. We have just heard some bad news about one of our outstanding members. 1,iJatts Hill, Jr., has recently suffered a mild heart attacte, and is now convalescing at home. First off, yes, I know the Bulletin is late but what can I say after. I've said I'm sorry? Even though it may be futile,1'11 throw in a few excuses for Poster.ity. Fir.st off, as PR Chairman, I've kinda been
volunteered as part of the Bulletin staff and am making an effor`t of sorts to contribute a little art work and maybe a humor.ous anecdote once in a while, plus being chief her.o navigating operator of the mimeogr.aph machine. So that explains partly the poor copies that you may be mulling. over rlf:ht nowj. We hope to get be€ter with experience so please bear with us 'cause we try harder.

And yes I said two.
So all in all, maybe we didn't do such a bad
job after all, but if anyone ~ and I mean anyone -would like to contribute
some spare times art work, written articles ort correspondence, PLEASE DO. Just rna,il them to Me or Lewis Gunter, whose addresses are on the fir'st page.
Lastly, many thanks to Bill King, Joanna George, Joe Go forth, Carl Amond, Ed and lv!ona Dir.lam and Bob Mul.I`ay for their contributions of time,
labor, or articles. Thanks and see you next month,
