ATTENTION CCD PARENTS: Again this year the CCD classes have chosen to take part in the Giving Tree Program. We ask that the students bring their money (nickels, dimes, quarters, etc.) each week to their classes by Dec. 7th. This is a wonderful program and we encourage all the students to take part in it. STEWARDSHIP MOMENT: “…Rather, we wanted to present ourselves as a model for you, so that you might imitate us.” - 2 THESSALONIANS 3:9 Most people who live a grateful and generous lifestyle don’t go around bragging about it. But through their actions and words, others do take notice. They notice because of the joy and peace that results and other people desire this in their own life. Know that the way you live your life may be the only interaction others have with the Catholic faith. COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE: Next Sunday, November 20th - 7:00 p.m. at Bethel Chapel, Carrington. Offering will go to the Carrington Ministerial Fund. Refreshments and Fellowship after the service! ALL are Welcome!  LADIES LADIES: Please pick up your envelope of raffle tickets to sell for the quilt and furniture piece on the white table in the back of the church and return them as soon as they are sold, either in the offertory collection, in the mornings at the parish office or to Laurie Aljets. Drawing will be Sunday, December 11th at the Christmas Coffee and Bake Sale. BOOK OF LIFE: In memory of all the departed, we have a book in the back of church called “The Book of Life”. We invite you to write the names of your deceased loved ones who have died within the last year and they and all the other names in the book will all receive a special remembrance in all the Masses celebrated in church during the month of November. COLLECTIONS: If you wish to donate to the World Mission or Archdiocese for Military Services Collections, please return your envelopes soon. Thank you! CHRISTMAS GIFT PROGRAM FOR STATE HOSPITAL PATIENTS: If you wish to participate in this gift program, please pick up a green sheet of ideas by the decorated Christmas box in back and return your items to the box by next Sunday, November 20th. PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS AND THE PARISH: Gracious God, you are the gentle presence, the peaceful light, that fills our whole world. We believe that you care for all your creatures with wisdom and love. Take care of us, your Church, this day. Give to us all grace and courage to live out our baptism as faithful disciples of your son, Jesus Christ. Give us good pastors who will call us to love and forgiveness and lead us in worship in the community of the Spirit. Bring forth from among us others whose manysplendored gifts will strengthen our community. Raise up people in religious life who by their unusual witness to the Gospel will call us to the love of God and neighbor. You have enfolded the smallness of our humanity in your divinity. Fill us all with your Holy Spirit. Amen. YOU ARE INVITED: The Diocese of Fargo presents Pope Francis & The Joy of the Gospel: How to Live Happy in a Broken World. Thurs., Nov 17th at 7:00 pm at Sts.
