BULLIED NO MORE:

A CONVERSATION WITH JARRETT PAYTON & CAMILLE PADDOCK Jarrett Payton, son of the late Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton, will discuss the dynamics of bullying and how to combat it. Jarrett will challenge students and encourage them to find common ground with classmates and respect each other's differences. All forms of bullying will be addressed, including cyberbullying. Drawing from the latest research, Jarrett will highlight the role of bystanders and challenge young people to speak out when they see bullying occur. Jarrett will also share his personal experiences with bullying during his high school athletic career. Ideal for middle and high school students who will leave both inspired and challenged. Parents and school personnel, as well as younger students, are also encouraged to attend.

Jarrett, now retired as a professional football player, is currently a radio and TV personality and a motivational speaker. He founded the Jarrett Payton Foundation, and through his PROJECT: NO BULL campaign he speaks out against bullying violence in schools.

Jarrett will be joined by Camille Paddock, a 15-year-old who was bullied to the point of almost ending her life, who will share her personal story of triumph over bullying. Cam was bullied since the age of 9 when she started losing her hair due to an auto-immune disease. Her classmates tormented her with names like "freak" and "hairless cat" and mounted a cyberbullying attack against her. Eventually, Cam no longer wanted to go to school, withdrew from others, and wanted to die to escape the pain. Instead of remaining a victim, Cam decided to take a stand and face the issue of bullying head on. She started her own Facebook page to share her story and eventually founded a non-profit organization called Cam's Dare to Be Different. She now travels throughout Illinois sharing her message about bullying, depression, and suicide prevention. For more information or to register visit
