John Gagliardi Director of Development, Haggai Institute Australia I started life as a journalist - was Chief of Staff of Channel 9 news when I was 22 and later ran a newspaper for Rupert Murdoch. I grew up as a “cool Anglican” and only came to the fullness of Christ at age 38, when I was struggling with alcohol and depression in spite of a very successful career in PR and lobbying (my projects include the Burdekin Dam and Jupiters Casino). I was media adviser to Prime Minster John Gorton and media trained the first Aboriginal Senator Neville Bonner. As a Christian, God has used me in amazing ways - I have made a speech in the Russian Parliament (I speak Russian) and also in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. I also lectured at a
