Call for Submissions on Australia’s Visa Reform 11 August, 2017- The Australian Government through the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) is calling for submissions in its reforms to modernise Australia’s visa system. This has been put out through a policy consultation paper titled “Visa Simplification: Transforming Australia’s Visa System”. http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/visa-reform/policy-consultation-paper. The public has been invited to make submissions on this policy change which closes on the 15th of September 2017. CISA as a peak body for International Students in Australia wishes to make its submission on behalf of international students for this reform. Therefore, we call on all international students to send in their submissions through CISA while we compile it and submit to the Government. CISA urges everyone to send in their proposal on or before 10th September 2017.
