CALL FOR PROPOSALS The Energy and Environment Partnership with Indonesia Programme (EEP Indonesia) is funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA) and implemented in cooperation with the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia. EEP Indonesia provides funding for projects related to production and utilization of renewable energy in the Provinces of Central Kalimantan and Riau. NGOs, companies, public and private initiatives, universities, research institutions and consulting companies are all eligible to apply for EEP's project financing. Public-private partnerships, and to enhance technology transfer, cooperation between the donor country (Finland) and local project developers are encouraged, but not compulsory. The first call for proposals, focusing on biomass based renewable energy, is launched now and the eligible project developers are requested to prepare their tentative Project Proposals (Project Profiles) and submit them to the EEP Indonesia National Coordination Unit by the 19th of September 2011.
