July 24, 2014 Dear Chandra Dubey: Congratulations! The SEG Foundation Travel Grant Committee has awarded you an SEG/Chevron Student Leadership Symposium (SLS) travel grant to participate in the SLS program and attend SEG International Exposition and 84th Annual Meeting in Denver, USA. If you accept this travel grant, email me before 28 July. If you do not accept the travel grant, send me an email immediately so I may offer the opportunity to the next highest ranked applicant. Your travel grant will pay for your Meeting registration, airfare, hotel accommodation for six nights and a daily allowance for meals. Any ground transportation, visa expenses, passport expenses, baggage and incidentals will be your financial responsibility. Please note: If you register yourself for SEG Annual Meeting, we will not issue a refund. You will receive your meal allowance Saturday, 25 October at the SLS event. If you require a visa and passport to travel to Denver, USA, you are responsible for obtaining these required documents. You should apply for a visitor DS-160 visa or the ESTA visa waiver form. Applicants who have not obtained a visa by 15 August may forfeit their position to the next highest ranked applicant. All hotel and flight reservations will be made and paid for by SEG. We will be working with a travel agency to make airline arrangements. Once flight reservations have been completed, you will receive your reservations via email. Upon receipt of confirmation, you will receive your e-ticket via email. Any changes made to the itinerary after confirmation will be at the Recipient’s own cost. You will receive your hotel assignment, along with information about the SLS and SEG Annual Meeting prior to your departure. Travel arrangements will not be made until a copy of the visa is received. To formally receive this travel grant offer, you must attach the completed letter of agreement, affidavit, tax forms and photocopy of your passport to your SLS application at seg.org/apply. I look forward to meeting you in Denver at the SEG/Chevron Student Leadership Symposium! Sincerely,
