Help spread a little joy to the victims of Hurricane Sandy Orders Due by Tuesday, Dec. 11th Did you know that schools in the New York area lost everything, including all of their library books, PE equipment, musical instruments, art supplies, technology and other classroom supplies? Are you wondering how you can help them from so far away? Austin Elementary is going to sell candy grams and send all of the profits to the students of Oceanside School District. Send a Candy Gram to someone you love! Parents and family members can send them to the children and kids can send them to friends or teachers! A Candy Gram is a packaged, old-fashioned candy stick with a To/From card attached. Each Candy Gram costs $1 each and you can order as many as you like. The Candy Grams will be addressed to the child (or to whom you wish to order a Candy Gram for) and delivered to them in their classrooms on Thursday, December 20th along with a holiday song by the 4th Grade Class. If you would like to make a cash donation, please send it in an envelope to your child’s homeroom teacher.
