COUNCIL OAK tracked the early pace inside, was blocked into the stretch, waited, angled out slightly, then made a steady gain and missed in the final strides. GOLD COUNTRY CAT set the early pace inside, turned back a challenged into the stretch to gain a clear lead and was outfinished. UNBRIDLED PAPILLON rated close up between rivals, pulled to contention through the second turn, angled out and bid four wide into the stretch, then lacked the needed late kick. AWESOME DREAM stalked the early pace three wide, moved up to challenged on that path into the stretch, then ran evenly the final furlong. READY TO THRILL mid pack and outside, moved up three wide through the second turn, then ran evenly in the lane. WICKLOW GATE improved his position. EL WILDCAT was never involved. HERE COMES HENRY vied for the early lead outside, gained a short lead and stopped. WILDWOOD WINNER showed little.
