Introduction Spiderplow® International is an Underground Technology Construction Company, offering specialized services to the Telecommunications Network Building Industry, Electricity Providers and Pipe Laying industries. Our services include the utilization of the latest, most modern installation techniques such as but not limited to Spiderplows, Rock Wheels, Chain Trenchers, Horizontal Drilling Rigs and Fibre Optic Cable pulling/ blowingsplicing machines. The company was established in 1994 by Gunther Sperber, a German National being the Frontier of this “New Age of Pipeline- & FOC/Cable network Construction”, concentrating on offering specialized plowing services only. Many big size projects in different parts of the world have given us the unique opportunity to work together with a large number of various local contractors and we took the advantage of associating ourselves with the Elite of them. As a result we have commenced turnkey projects with DCL (Direct Communications Ltd) in Lagos, Peter Kiewit Engineering & Construction in the Omaha Nebraska USA, PIHA Construction in Perth Western Australia, GeCo Construction CC in Pretoria South Africa and UTI (Underground Technologies Inc) in Manila Philippines. Being in possession of several Spiderplows which are capable of installing cables, pipes or conduits at an unrivalled and unprecedented rate of up to 10 km per day per machine, no construction company worldwide has ever matched.
