ATB has been developed with mechanical and electrical interlocking system for stable electric power supply to the critical demands, such as hospital, communication & broadcasting center, computer room, power plant, main facilities for factories & buildings and others eliminating the problems of conventional ATS. The compact and light weight designed ATB with high speed switching system and excellent breaking performance detecting over current and ground fault current protects the electric power system from the fault and abnormal current.

[ Appearance and Operation Method ]

put in on, the ATB must be tripped before input the other source to avoid the electrical accident & clash.

Appearance & Operation Method Manual Operation Method After input charging spring using handle, if input button (On) push, it throws in. If trip button (Off) push, it trips. • When input charging completely, the charging display shows “CHARGE” • The Input and the Trip button is not working simultaneously because of mechanical interlock system. • The condition of main contact of ATB, Close or Open, is represented on State Display. • In order to keep the right position of Handles, the both sources should be charged completely.
Motor charging operation • Input spring charge automatically by electric motor. After charging, charging display shows “CHRAGE” • When Input button push (On) manually, it throws in showing “DISCHARGE” on Charging Display and “Close” on State Display. • At this time, Input spring charge automatically by electric motor. After charging, charging display shows “CHRAGE” • When Trip button push (Off) manually, it trips showing “OPEN” on State Display. • At this time, the spring charge automatically by electric motor. After charging, charging display shows “CHRAGE” • The Both sources are not working simultaneously because of mechanical interlock system. • When both sources OPEN position, the both sources should be shutted off.

Drawable type ATB It is composed of circuit breaker and draw-out frame. only draw of circuit breaker is possible. Draw-out
cradle is fixed at distributing board.
In this type, there are three positions such as 'Connected', 'Test', and 'Isolated'. It is possible to close panel door at isolated position.

[ Special Function of ATB ] Generally, the Circuit Breakers should be designed and installed at the front and rear of ATS in order to protect the electric equipment from fault current, such as ground fault, short circuit and surge. When fault and abnormal current occurs, ATB must designed and produced in order to stand at least 20 times of rated current and 3 cycles before trip.

ATB Transfer & Retransfer Operation with Time Delay
Operation Method for By-Pass System Built-in ATB In case of ATB test or uninterrupted facilities (Broadcasting station, hospital, computer room, power plant and others).
ByPass Isolation switch has all characteristics that
ATB has to prevent power failure of loading side that is occurred in case of test or maintenance of general ATS add one ByPass Isolation Switch to ATS and operate it as following figure. It is the switch that test or repair can be performed without difficulties to loading side. 1)
