Listening The student listens to audio files – speeches, dialogues, voice prompts, etc. This enhances your ability to understand spoken words and expressions and organize and summarize thoughts of an audio recording. Reading – In this class, students study news articles, stories, speeches, etc. Reading class tests your total comprehension skill while enhancing your vocabulary and pronunciation skills. Reading comprehension questions follow after the discussion. SpeakingSpeaking is a very useful class that enhances a student’s total conversational ability. The student in a speaking class learns effective conversation, important expressions, and correct ways of expressing ideas. WritingIn a writing class, the student is expected to master word usage and effective sentence construction. Vocabulary and grammar are also being taught in this class. GrammarGrammar is an integral part of any language learning. Verb tenses and form, different parts of speech and their usages, and subjectverb agreement are just some of the things the student can learn in a grammar class. VocabularyIn a vocabulary class, the student learns not only the meaning of the word and its pronunciation, but also how the word can be used in a sentence correctly. PronunciationMost non-native English speakers encounte encounterr problems with enunciating some sounds. The pronunciation class aims at correcting pronunciation errors and teaching students to speak with proper stress and intonation. Free TalkingFree-talking classes are provided for students who are starters of the language. Basic words and expressions are taught in the class as well as confidence in naturally expressing their ideas. Callan MethodCallan method is a direct method originating in the U.K. It is a method believed to be 4x more effective than the other common methods. In a Callan Method class, the student is very much involved and practical skills are being applied. Group ClassGroup class are designed to help students achieve the confidence in speech and application of their learning. Activities and discussions are being carried out in a group setting.
