The undersignedis directed'torefer to this Department'sOM No. 11013/312074' and Estt(AJ dacedrhe iTth February,2015 regardingsubmissionof declarationof asseLs and the liabilities by the public servants'underthe CentralCivil servicis [Conduct) rules, Lokapl land LokayuktasAct, 2013 and to say that as per the rule LB (11 (i) of the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Ruies, 7954, every Government servant shall on his first appointmentto any service or post submit a return of his assetsand liabilities,in the form prescribed by the Government, giving the full particulars of movable, immovable and valuableproperty and debts and other liabilities,etc,.Similarly,Governmentservantsother 'A' and Croup 'B' are required to submit an than newly appointed, belonging to Group annual return .in prescribed form giving full particulars of lhe immovable property inherited/ owned/ acquired by him/ her or held by him/her on lease/ mortgageeither in his/ her own name or in the name of any member of his/ her family or in the name of any other persons. Z. Thc Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 {Lokpal Act) notified by the Government requiresall public servants to declare,on first appointmentand subsequentlyevery year,a declarationof his/ her assets& liabilities.In exerciseof powers conferred by sub-section (1), clause[k) and ctause(l] of sub-section[2J of Section59 read with section 44 and 45 of the Act, this Department has notified the Public Servanls(Furnishing of Information and Annual Return of Assetsand Liabilitiesand the Limits for Exemptionof Assetsin Filing 2014. The form for declarationsis at Annexure-1.Ail Governmentservants Returns)-Rules, i.e.,belonging bo Group A, Group B, Group C and erstwhile Group D, are now required to furnish the declarationof their assets& liabilitiesin the enclosedformal. The next annual return under the Lokpal Act, for the year ending 31st March.2015shouldbe filed on or before15thOctober.2015; and
(iii)
The annual returns for subsequentyears as on 3L"t March every year shouldbe filed on or before31stJulYof that year.
