The post of Director is a Research Management position in CSB. The incumbent will head a CSB Research Institute / Organisation and organise, direct and guide research. Strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation of research, training and extension activities. Plan development strategies for the sericulture industry through dissemination of technologies, innovations and entrepreneurship development and co-ordination with State Departments for effective transfer of technology. Plan field related training programmes for technology absorption, Supervise & monitor the activities of Extension Units, etc., Implement and monitor Govt. of India’s schemes for the benefit of the stakeholders. : JOINT DIRECTOR (EPC)

The candidates selected for the above posts are liable to be posted anywhere in India. CSB has Units all over the country and there is all India transfer liability for all its employees. Besides pay, the post carry allowances as per Central Government rates. Applicants serving under Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings must apply through proper channel alongwith ‘Certificate of Verification by the Employer’ in the prescribed proforma which is attached to this advertisement. In case of advance copy, the application must be accompanied with all the required enclosures without which it will not be entertained. Additionally, a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the Employer at the time of interview is essential. Applications which are unsigned, incomplete or not in the prescribed format or without photocopies of all certificates in support of their claim or received after the last date stipulated in this advertisement shall be summarily rejected. Mere submission of application does not guarantee the candidate for being called for written test / interview. The prescribed Educational Qualifications are the minimum required and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written test / interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the Advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the Board to interview all those candidates, the Board has the right to limit the candidates to be called for interview on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the Advertisement. The Board also reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates who in its assessment are likely to be most suitable. The Board also reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process for any one of the above posts or all the posts at any time without assigning any reasons. The selection process will be through interview only for post at Sl.No. 1. The selection process for the remaining two posts (i.e. to conduct only interview or both written test and interview) will be decided by the Competent Authority based on the number of Applications received. No correspondence will be entertained with candidates not selected for interview/written test/appointment. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. AGE LIMIT & RELAXATIONS: i) ii)

The date for determining the upper age limit, qualifications and experience shall be the closing date prescribed for receipt of completed applications as indicated above i.e. 28th July, 2017 Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation over and above the upper age limit prescribed as per Govt. of India Rules i.e. by 5 years subject to the condition that maximum age of the applicant on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years.
