CHALLENGE DESCRIPTION (WITH TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS): Background Currently we have applications to detect the objects based on Bar Code and QR codes. However, for service and maintenance applications it is preferable to detect the objects based on its shape and geometrical features. This will lead the technician to identify the objects very easily without searching for lengthy manuals and catalogues. Challenge Now we can see the similar apps for retail applications in e-commerce, but a compelling and reliable application for industrial applications is not in market as of now. Additional Requirements: Deliverables A mobile application with an intuitive user interface to detect the object based on its shape and geometrical features. In the background, we should be having options to add new parts and assemblies for detection and creating databases.
