We at the Meditation Center celebrated the International Day of Women on Saturday, March 11 from 11am to 12:30pm. The topic was - Let's GOSSIP! Let's revisit our core inner strength. G - Genuine O - Observant S - Simple S - Sweet I - Intelligent P - Powerful We had a casual gathering of about 15 women seated in a circle having snacks. We started with a couple of minutes of silence. It was then followed by an ice breaker where each one picked a card that had a word written (Genuine, Observant, Simple, sweet, Intelligent, Powerful). Each shared their name, where they were from and a woman in their life that was an example or embodiment of the virtue they had
picked. Many shared and told stories that they had seen these beautiful virtues in their mothers, siblings, spiritual/religious leaders and themselves. Each one then shared thoughts of encouragement towards each other. Never to give. To remain strong. To be open and be yourself. It was then concluded with everyone randomly choosing a reflective card, reading it to themselves and sitting in silence.
I - Intelligent. P - Powerful. We had a casual gathering of about 15 women seated in a circle having snacks. We started with a couple. of minutes of silence.
