The President shall be primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Council, but may delegate some or all of his/her duties to the relevant staff members or members of the Executive Committee, subject to the Executive Committee's approval.

Maintain records and a description of the procedures in use for the benefit of his or her successor and of other interested parties.

Executive Assistant

Fulfil the role of high-level personal assistant for the National President, which includes but not limited to: •

Plan and deliver CISA’s existing grants and scholarships, such as: o CISA U Grant o Equity Scholarships for CISA National Conference o CISA Excellence Awards Partake in planning and preparation of grant proposals for one or more portfolios; Provides guidance and assistance to investigators in the interpretation of funding agency regulations and requirements. Prepare and compile all components of each grant submission, ensuring that the proposal is formatted, packaged, and submitted in accordance with granting agency requirements. Develop and maintain specialized databases for tracking grant proposals, awards, and related statistical information; creates and distributes standard and special reports, studies, summaries, and analyses, as required.  

Events Team Plan the project • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with CISA executives and State Operational Group • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities • Review the project schedule with relevant CISA Executive and all other volunteers that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion Staff the Project • In consultation with the Human Resource Team, relevant CISA executive and State Operational Group, recruit, interview and select 18

Work with institutions to potentially form International Students association or group in the different institution within the respective state / territory Promote CISA to the student organisation and to be part of CISA if a student association already exists Assist in ensuring that the goals and actionable items concerning the students in the sector in the National Strategy for International Education is 21  

Work closely with the Campaign Coordinators to organise activities and events to encourage involvement and engagement from the International Students association or group in the different institution within the respective state / territory Update the International Students association of CISA’s project and initiatives Initiate surveys, focus group discussion and forums where to the international students and student organisation can share their feedback, suggestions, initiatives or innovations, creative ideas to strengthen multi-cultural awareness and engagement among other students regardless if international or domestic

Work closely with the Event Team to analyse the outcome of the events held such as forums, focus group discussion, surveys, etc. to be presented to the CISA Executive for review and discussion.
