Terms and Conditions: A Culinary Guide to Japan We are excited to have you on board for A Culinary Guide to Japan with Tapopo Studio. Before we take off, here are some of facts so we are all on the same page. These are the terms which we offer at Tanpopo Studio LLC. By registering and paying deposits for the tour, you are entering into this Participant's Agreement with us. Please read this agreement carefully before making reservation and payments. This Term and Condition Agreement is between Tanpopo Studio LLC, referred as “we” or “us”, located 1381 Stanford Ave. St. Paul, MN 55105 and traveler, referred as “you” or “traveler(s)”. Pricing and Inclusions: Quoted price is per person for double occupancy. Prices include 5 nights hotel stays, 8 meals, guide fee, transportation to and from hotels to the next destination. Exclusions: Quoted price does not include: travel insurance, flights to and from Japan, transportation fee from and to airport to hotel, costs associated with obtaining passport and visa, luggage fee, laundry, alcohol, personal expenses and anything else that does not have association with the actual tour itself. Please review included items before entering this agreement. Optional activities and all personal expenses are also not included in the price. \ Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due at the time of signing to reserve your space on the tour. If the tour does not meet the minimum number of travelers, the deposit will be fully refunded. If the 6 person minimum is not met, Tanpopo Studio LLC has the right to cancel the tour, and will fully refund your deposit. We will notify travelers of any cancellations at least two months prior to the tour date. Payment: All payments must be made to Tanpopo Studio LLC. We accept personal checks and all major forms of credit cards. Tour Confirmation: Once the minimum has been met, we will immediately notify you of confirmation of the tour. Do not purchase a tickets until your have received this confirmation. We will confirm your reservation once the deposit is paid in full. ”. Final Payment: The remaining balance will be due two weeks after the tour has been confirmed along with necessary travel information - personal information, pertinent traveler’s medical information, etc.

Cancellation by Traveler(s): In any event where you must cancel the tour, these policies will apply: ● All deposits are non-refundable unless the tour does not meet the minimum number of guests. ● Between 31 days and 59 days prior to the tour, we will retain 50% of final payment plus full deposit and any other fee associated with cancellation process such as credit card fee. ● 30 days or prior to the tour day, we will retain 100% of the final payment plus deposit. Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be made in writing and mailed to Tanpopo Studio LLC. Dates will apply only after we receive written notice regarding cancellation. Cancellation Due to External Events: Tanpopo Studio LLC also has a right to cancel the tour due to natural disasters and other external events where it prohibits us from operating the planned itinerary. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses such as airline fees incurred due to cancellation based on uncontrollable acts. Any payments made to Tanpopo Studio LLC will be refunded in the event of such cancellation. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel and/or medical insurance. If you decline insurance coverage, you will personally assume full responsibility for any financial loss associated with your travel arrangements. Safeguarding your travel investment with insurance is recommended.. Baggage: We assume no liability for loss or damage to baggage in transit to and from destinations in the tour. Conduct: We adhere to the principles of responsible and sustainable travel. You are responsible for respecting the authority and following the directions of your tour guide and the laws of the country. We may exclude you from participating in all or any part of the tour if, in our sole discretion, your condition or behavior renders you unfit to travel with us. In the event you are exclude from the tour you are solely responsible for yourself and any costs associated with the remainder of your stay in Japan. Any illegal activity will be promptly reported to local authorities. Personal Information: In order for us to confirm your reservation, we ask all travelers to provide us with personal informations. Personal information must include but not limited to full name as per passport, address, phone number, email address, birth date, nationality, passport number, issuing agency along with expiration date. We also require that you share any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability or complete your travel arrangements. We will have a right to cancel your reservation without refund if Personal Information is not provided at the time of final payment.

Privacy and Security: Information collected will be solely used to provide the services being purchased and Tanpopo Studio LLC will not sell personal information third parties. We value your security and privacy.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk: Tanpopo Studio LLC nor our tour guide(s) is not responsible for “Act of God”, terrorism, and unforeseen emergencies which may delay or cancel the tour. Traveling involves certain risk associated with transport, visiting remote places, weather conditions, and access to medical facilities. Traveler assume full responsibility for any injuries, or damages, losses and expenses, including legal fees, Traveler may sustain as a result of participating in this tour. By signing this waiver of liability and release, Traveler expressly assume these risks and acknowledge that Traveler have read and understood this document and its terms and will forever release and discharge any claims against Tanpopo Studio LLC and its employees or agents.

Media Release Form: Because Tanpopo Studio LLC uses pictures and videos of each tour for the purpose of marketing, please fill out attached “Media Release Form”. Traveler may choses to opt out by not signing the release below. By signing below, Travelers are voluntarily authorizing Tanpopo Studio LLC to record photos, and videos and granting for the purpose of marketing on it’s website, company brochures and social media accounts. Traveler further agree to release and forever discharge Tanpopo Studio LLC, its agents, employees and representatives from any and all claims in law that may arise regarding the use of any such photos or videos.
