EBTH was born out of a passion for antiques, a desire to change the way that they're discovered, and a commitment to providing sellers with a better alternative for selling their property. We are seeking a Coin Cataloger to promote estate sale items by presenting information in an appealing, informative, concise and historically accurate manner for the EBTH website. We are seeking candidates who can work varying hours each week, and flex up and down based on the volume of sales in the market. As a young company, we move fast and take risks and while this will be a very demanding position, you'll be surrounded by a passionate team of individuals that are dedicated to the common goal of drastically changing the way that personal property is sold, bought, and moved across the country and across the world and we have a lot of fun while we're doing it!
TASKS YOU'LL BE JUGGLING
Performing research using the internet, reference materials, expert contacts and other resources.
Writing item descriptions in an appealing, informative, concise and historically accurate manner.
Working directly with the consignor or consignor’s representative to ensure total satisfaction with the EBTH service.
Minimizing customer dissatisfaction and returns by providing accurate item descriptions.
Communicating with internal and external customers for the best possible item presentation.
Working in conjunction with photographers to maximize throughput and timeliness.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Credentials We Are Seeking
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Five years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
College degree in the Arts preferable.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in numismatics and philately.
Knowledge of antiques, artwork, collectibles and unique items with the ability to assess value. Emphasis on coins/stamps.
Familiar with the internet and Microsoft Office software.
Ability to effectively communicate via email, phone, and in person with customers.
Ability to move/lift up to 50lbs.
Reliable transportation.
