Dear Parents or Guardians: Many of our young people are planning to attend four-year universities or colleges. They must take academic preliminary tests to be fully prepared for college admission. Test information may be picked up in the Guidance Offices or online. The following test schedule is highly recommended: GRADE LEVEL

PSATNMSQT Pre-SAT
1. English: Reading, Writing and Language test. Math: Heart of Algebra, Problem Solving and Data Analysis and Passport to Advanced Math. Excellent practice for the SAT Reasoning Tests. 2. Used to identify juniors for the National Merit Scholarships, the National Achievement Scholarship program, and the National Hispanic Scholars program. 1. 4 sections- English-written & rhetorical skills; Reading- comprehension & reasoning; Math: Alg I & II w/ Trig and Geometry; and Science. 2. Admission Test for 4-year colleges and universities. 3. Can be re-taken as many times as desired. 4. Tests strength of high school preparation for college level work. 5.
