The PYP position is that, in order to conduct purposeful inquiry and in order to be well prepared for lifelong learning, students need to master a range of skills beyond those normally referred to as basic. These skills are valuable, not only in the units of inquiry, but also for any teaching and learning that goes on in the classroom and in life outside the school. These approaches to learning include: thinking skills, social skills, communication skills, self management skills, and research skills.

Student Council Representatives
Student Council provides leadership opportunities for students in grades 3-5. The members work together to plan projects that “give back” to the community. Student Council members meet monthly and serve as positive role models for others. Mrs. Witte and Mrs. Rotert are sponsors for the 2017-18 school year
Find box tops on hundreds of products, clip them, and send to school in a baggie. Our school’s Box Tops Coordinator is Andrea Hoden and she will collect all the Box Tops and send them in so our school can get cash. Checks are mailed to schools twice a year in December and April
