Luke 11: 9-13(NIVUK) ‘So I say to you: ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9

‘Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!’ 11

POOR AND FOR APRIL 2018 TUITION FEES FOR ORANG ASLINEEDY STUDENTS Beneficiaries: 14 Orang Asli Primary students – 5 girls and 9 boys Background: These are children from villages where they have been subjected to very poor education foundation in their critical formative years. They are currently under the care of the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC) and Persidangan Misi Sengoi Malaysia (PMSM). Because of their poor education foundation, they are unable to keep up with their peers and are generally 2-3 years intellectually behind other students. Need: They need intensive tuition in key subjects in order for them to catch up with the rest of the students. An estimated sum of RM14,000 for tuition fees will be needed to fund 3 teachers @ RM400 each for 12 months Through the efforts of Council of Churches, Malaysia and certain individuals, some funds were raised in 2017 to provide the students with tuition. By year end it was noticed that there were slight improvements in their results. Encouraged by the students’ determination for improvements, we are appealing to the congregation to give generously to our April Poor & Needy offering to assist these children to progress towards a brighter future. Thank you and God bless.

CLASSES/COURSES/SEMINARS INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING (IDT) There will be NO IDT today. IDT will resume next week, 1 April 2018.
