I

t is our pleasure to invite you to join us in Barcelona for the Fifth International Congress: Perspectives in Colorectal Cancer (PICC 2003)— The most important International Congress on Colorectal Cancer.

If you are a practicing clinician managing patients with cancer of the colon and rectum, you cannot miss this important meeting. A faculty of expert international specialists will present their perspectives on the current management and treatment of these dreaded diseases and their hopes for future management. If you are a medical oncologist, colorectal surgeon, radiation oncologist, or gastroenterologist, you know the importance and the seriousness of these disorders and of the many changes and innovations their management has seen over the last few years. We welcome and encourage you to share the results of your investigations and new clinical or laboratory data with all attendees by submitting one or more abstracts to the Scientific Committee for presentation in the Congress.
