With sharpen skills one can stand ahead of the competition and for that only theoretical knowledge is not enough but the practical exposure is equally important for the students in today's era. In view of this line we have proposed to implement following seminars in first year at Faculty of Commerce. 1) Intellectual skills – comes naturally or essential to learn Intellectual skills deals with mental capabilities such as excellent memory, verbal comprehension, reasoning, analyzing, and problem solving, which are all important elements of working environment. Certain jobs require more intellectual ability than other types of jobs. This seminar inculcate intellectual skill set in students which can help them out in the future professional studies and at professional level too. 2) Time management Time is a special resource that you cannot store or save for later use. Workshops

In a workshop, a group can collectively advance their level of thinking through an effective combination of independent reading and group discussion. As one become more familiar, and in turn more confident, with discussing as a group, the discussions will become closer to the level of ideas. Overall we will be doing series of workshop on different subjects, through which students can get an idea to choose their subject of specialisation. 1) Idea Generation Workshop for Business Innovation is the process of taking useful ideas and converting them into useful products; services or processes or methods of operation. These useful ideas are the result of creativity, which is the prerequisite for innovation. All the way through this workshop we would like to encourage students for innovative and creative thinking, which can help them in their future endeavors. 2) Grooming and Personality Development Presentation should be always best because it is the first impression by which one can get impressed. When we talk about personality, physique or posture of a person comes in mind at once but now personality is not only bounded till the physical appearance of the person but the way of talking, way of presenting himself, way of walking etc many things comes under that. Grooming is the part of Personality Development. By personality grooming one can learn how to keep positive thoughts even in worst conditions also. This workshop helps students to present them professional and present their knowledge at best.

16

Innovations use assets and competencies of the organization along with innovation processes to bring about new or different market offerings, which when successful in the market bring in immense value to the firm. (2) Indian GAAP and IFRS The adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards, or IFRS, which is being developed and supported by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
