All teachers will have standards maps presented to the principal. All teachers will have unit plans that align with their standards maps. All units will have pre and post assessments that align with standards.

Use OnCourse Lesson Planner that has an app for the adminstration to comment during a walkthrough. The administration use a Google Form as a walkthrough instrument, that focuses on literacy in the classroom that provides teachers imediate feedback. The instrument specfically addresses five areas: Time, Task, Test, Text, and Talk.

Academic Boosters- Support teachers and instruction through funds raised by this club. The academic boosters club is working very hard to try and recruit new members and get more parents involved.

The school will have various forms of contact with the students, parents, and community that focuses on academic achievement. These will include but not limited to , school newsletter, email blast, Blackboard Connect, and web pages. The Academic Booster Club will increase the membership and will provide the funds to support student achievement.

Administration will plan a Freshman Feast at the start of every school year for rising freshman. This will give the parents and student a chance to see the school and meet the teachers, as well as meet and talk to the 10/5/17 various club leaders and coaches.
