J.R. Box! 1. From Heavyweight Craf-tex cut: Five 4½“ squares One 4¾” square Four 4¾”x 1” strips the squares. Stick together with masking tape. Turn cross over and place on ironing board. 3. Cut 14” square fabric. Press fabric to Craf-tex. Use steam

the four corners. 5. Remove masking tape. Press another 14” square to the other side of the Craf-tex. 6. Trim excess fabric and cut 7. On corners, tuck excess fabric inside. 8. Sew close to outside edge, short stitch length. 9. Satin stitch over sides of box. Sew round 2/3 times. Decrease length and increase width on each round. (More details of the show.)

10. Bring sides of box together. Stitch across. external pocket.

Box Lid: 1. Stick remaining Craf-tex pieces together. 2. Press fabric to one side, trim edges to Craf-tex. Slightly curve corners on each side of lid (easier to satin stitch round curve). 3. Satin stitch round edges, increasing stitch width and decreasing stitch length. 4. Fold sides of box lid together, secure with small stitch.
