Creating a Personal Community

When a phone call or text doesn’t get your loved one’s attention, an In-telligent Personal Community can override their silent setting to ensure your message is seen. Follow these steps to begin setting up your Personal Community. To start, select the “Personal Communities” tab.

You will then be redirected to this first screen where you will select “Add New.”

Enter your unique Personal Community name here. Create your own thumbnail icon or use our Default thumbnail here.

Select “Create” to finalize your Personal Community.

Creating a Personal Community Creating a Personal Community is easy, but you have to invite your loved ones to ensure you can get a message to them. After your community is set up, select “Invite Others to Join.” Enter the name of the contact you are adding, as well as either an email or phone number to send the invite to. Select “Invite and Save Contact” to send the invite. Under “Members in Community” you are able to view the status of your contact invite.

Creating a Personal Community Now that your Personal Community is set up and your loved ones have subscribed, you can begin sending messages by selecting “Send Alert to Community.” First select the type of alert, “Urgent” or “Emergency.” Then, select if you are sending the alert to “All Subscribers” or only one “Specific Subscriber.” Finally, enter the Title and Body of your alert, as well as an attachment if you so choose. Select “Send” to deliver your alert.
