It has been stated therein that a complaint was received in the office of the deponent on 20.7.2017 from Manoj, husband of the petitioner. It was marked to Assistant Sub Inspector- Pardeep Rana on 22.7.2017. During enquiry, statements were recorded. Assistant Sub Inspector- Pardeep Rana concluded the enquiry and prepared a report holding that the complaint was false. He even prepared the report of the Station House Officer and got the same signed from him without his knowledge. For this, FIR No. 378 dated 29.8.2017 has been registered under Section 167 IPC at Police Station, Sector 5, Panchkula against SI-Ram Bahgat, husband of respondent No. 5Sushila, Sub Inspector-Balwant, Assistant Sub Inspector-Pardeep Rana and MHC Murari Lal. The matter is under investigation. In terms of the order passed by this court on 15.9.2017, Mr. Tejinder Singh Luthra, Director General of Police, U.T., Chandigarh has appeared in person.
