To meet core expectations you are expected to:      

be accepting of all group members and their abilities work well with others and support leaders complete your fair share of the group's responsibilities show respect for the efforts and contributions of others be reliable so others can depend upon you respect the needs of the group in the actions you take

To meet core expectations you are expected to:      

follow established rules and procedures have a positive attitude use appropriate language show respect to guests, staff and peers follow instructions show up ready to put forth your best effort

To meet core expectations you are expected to:  

aspire to continuously improve through feedback accept and respond favorably to feedback from experts (including your teacher) acknowledge the person who provides you feedback perform self-assessments using tools like rubrics utilize peer-reviews to gather feedback and improve

To meet core expectations you are expected to:  





be self motivated and set goals for yourself overcome setbacks and bounce back—see failure and/ or disappointment as an opportunity to grow advocate for your needs and wants in an appropriate manner (especially in situations involving hardship) increase the probability that high quality college and career opportunities will be available to you in the future by making good plans and choices now

To meet core expectations you are expected to:     



be on time and fully prepared for class meet all safety and dress code expectations start work promptly do quality work stay on task, work hard and use time effectively make up missing work and lost learning after an absence

To go beyond core expectations, you also: bring quality leadership and positive energy to your group  develop a team plan, structure and/or approach that members agree upon; jointly implement it to effectively solve problems  contribute to building high performing teams where members care so much so that they hold each other accountable for achieving superior results 

To go beyond core expectations, you also: be open-minded towards new ideas and methods  display a strong sense of enthusiasm and optimism  represent yourself and the CRTC in a positive manner  take ownership for your own shortcomings or errors and accept full responsibility to find a resolution  demonstrate great pride and ownership in everything you do 

To go beyond core expectations, you also: listen critically and ask probing follow-up questions to clarify the feedback you receive  provide quality constructive feedback to peers and others  jump on all opportunities to learn and seek mastery  ask professionals (without holding back for fear of ‘bad’ reviews) to provide you in-depth and specific feedback on your performance; respond by adjusting and steadily improving 

To go beyond core expectations, you also: choose a harder option (if appropriate) over an easier one if it provides more long-term enduring benefits for you  venture out of your comfort zone and take on worthy professional endeavors to expand your skill set  volunteer to take on, attack and solve complex problems  demonstrate doggedness to attain expansive far-reaching personal and career goals (which you’ve set) 

To go beyond core expectations, you also: ask questions to fully understand what is expected of you including clarifying instructions  use class time with purpose and drive  demonstrate strong organizational skills  fulfill expectations and meet deadlines with the highest quality work at all times 
