Position Overview: A customer service rep is critical to the success of any organization that deals with customers. Strong customer service can build sales and visibility as Empire distinguishes itself from the competition. A customer service rep is directly responsible for quotations,order entry, production expediting and delivery schedules. The goal is to create a smooth
interface between the customer and all departments involved in running an order in our plant. This will involve conscientious follow up and an ability to trouble shoot unexpected problems through coordinating efforts with the sales, design, production, scheduling
and shipping departments. Computer skills utilized heavily as operation is computer based and driven.
Excellent mathematical, analytical and organizational skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to effectively relate to the various customers and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. Must have great attention to detail. Bachelor's degree or comparable related business experience. Equivalent of 4+ years in industry specific customer service and computer related experience preferred.

Other Skills: Microsoft office ability - Word: create basic document,edit a document,format text, format paragraphs,adding tables,insert graphic, control page appearance,proof a document . Excel: create a basic worksheet, perform calculations,modify a worksheet, format a worksheet, print workbook contents, manage large workbooks. Outlook: compose message, organize messages, manage contacts,
schedule appointments, schedule meetings, manage tasks and notes
