DENVER OFFICE OF SNELL & WILMER WELCOMES ATTORNEY BYEONGSOOK SEO DENVER (April 11, 2017) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Byeongsook Seo has joined the firm’s Denver office as counsel and will serve as a member of the commercial litigation practice. He was formerly with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP. For almost two decades, Seo has represented clients in commercial real estate, contract, business torts and disputes (including disputes among business partners), director and officer liability, and intellectual property matters. In intellectual property matters, Seo has represented high-tech clients in disputes ranging from patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret enforcement to disputes over the sale of products and businesses. In addition, Seo has represented clients in commercial litigation involving engineering, design and architectural issues, as well as disputes regarding real estate development projects. Seo has handled all aspects of trials, preliminary injunctions, receiverships and arbitrations.

The award, the Association’s highest honor, is presented to an individual or group whose community service exemplifies the achievement of Yasui, who challenged the laws applied to Japanese-Americans during World War II and advocated for civil rights and liberties for American citizens, regardless of race or ethnicity. Seo received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.S. in engineering mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy. Seo served as a captain in the United States Air Force.
