In the exigency of the service and in view of the optional retirement of Executive Director Lina D. Isorena effective December 31, 2009 which had already been approved by Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, I am designating Mr. Dante V. Sy as Officer-in-Charge of the NTRC and its attached agencies until such time that the President has appointed Ms. Isorena's permanent replacement. This Department Order is being issued to prevent disruptions in continuing the operations of the NTRC. This Order takes effect January 1, 2010.
