In the exigencies of the service and in response to the petition sent by the inter-agency representatives to the National Commission on Savings, MA. ELEANOR F. DELA CRUZ, Assistant Secretary, Policy Development and Management Services Group , this Department , is hereby re-assigned Executive Director of the NCS in concurrent. capacity. With this designation, ASEC dela Cruz shall attend to the day-to-day concerns of the NCS, including (1) building of a data bank which would provide the analytical base for the conduct of policy studies and the identification of measures and work targets to increase domestic savings, and (2) selection of appropriate staff support for the operations of the NCS. Officials designated members of the Special Task Force for the observance of the ^r-DPO 3-98 and APO 10-98 are hereby directed to help in Savings Consciousness Year andr the orderly and complete identification of accountabilities, and proper accounting and transfer of funds, properties and documents to ASEC dela Cruz. This Order amends DPO No. 3-98 and DPO 10-98 and all other issuances inconsistent herewith.

This Order takes effect immediately and all concerned should be guided accordingly.
